Mr. Muttiah Logendra was born in Colombo, Sri Lanka, lived in Ariyalai, Glasgow(UK) and London(UK) and passed away peacefully on 13th June 2022 in Glasgow(UK).

Eldest Son of late Eliathamby Muttiah and late Viyalammah Muttiah,
Son-in-law of late Thambu Sabaratnam and late Vijayaluxmy Sabaratnam,
Dearest Husband of Dr. Thevasundari,
Beloved Father of Ramesh Ian and Dr Anita,
Respected Father-in-law of Zoe,
Adored Thatha of Maya,
Cherished Brother of Yathindra(Canada), Dr Theivendra, Dr Suganthamala, Surendra(Australia) and Jeyendra(Australia),
Admired Brother-in-law of Sucila(Canada), Meera, Radhakrishnan, Gayathri(Australia) and Thulasi(Australia)
and Esteemed brother-in-law of Professor Lingham, Kokilam, Sugarani, Chakaravarthy(Sri Lanka), Dr Pushpam, Devi, Mahendran, Manoharan and Saraswathy(Australia).

It is with deep sadness that we write this tribute, Logendra Anna.

You were a humble, kind, loving, caring person, good at heart, and jovial! There was never an occasion without a joke or something really interesting you shared. Being in your presence was most comforting.

We remember like yesterday how you welcomed our family into your house in Glasgow when we visited you in the early 80s. My mother in law adored you like her own son. We always valued your honest brotherly advice.

Your sudden demise came truly as a shock. No one did not expect it, and we all wish you had more time to continue to enjoy your retirement, especially taking care of and playing with your granddaughter Maya.

You touched so many lives through your selfless acts of kindness, always giving and never expecting any favours in return. Your dedication to work was remarkable. Through sheer hard work, you achieved great success. It’s sad that you left without reaping the real benefits of it. I remember fondly a message you wrote after the Sri Parvathi get-together last year, saying you missed the fun. Ironically, we are going to miss the future good times with you.

Logendra Anna, you were and will always be an inspiration to ourselves, the entire family. You have left a void that will never be filled.

I have known Logendra from childhood and remember him as a gentle soft spoken kind hearted friend.Remember him visiting me about thirty years ago in Washington DC
suburbs.I have known the entire family since they all studied in Jaffna.Please accept my heartfelt condolences.
