Very sad to hear this news. I have known him from our younger days. Studied at St.John's College Jaffna together. Good footballer. Friendly person. Our thoughts are with his family and friends. May his Soul Rest In Peace.

This is a sad day for me, as Thurai a good friend of mine in the 60's and 70's has passed away. I met him last at Colombo airport, I think 1976, when he and a group of my friends left for the Middle East. He was an intelligent guy who unfortunately didn't make it to the college. A keen sportsman who played all sports equally well. A jovial character and a really good-hearted person. I will miss him a lot.
