Mr. Jaya Ranjit Aruldason
Toronto, Ontario- Mr. Jaya Ranjit Aruldason passed away peacefully on Sunday November 12, 2017 at Scarborough Birchmount Hospital.
He leaves behind his wife, Mrs. Shiranee Aruldason (nee Brodie), their two children, Shereena and John and many family members and close friends.
Born in Colombo Sri Lanka, Ranjit was the eldest child of the late Mr. John Rajah Aruldason and Mrs. Nallammah Aruldason (nee Vijayaratnam) and son in law of the late Dr. Ponnuthury Brodie and the late Mrs. Jayamany Brodie. He is the loving brother of Rajeswari, and sister in law of Mrs. Kumudhini Coomarasamy and brother in law of Dr. A Coomarasamy.
Ranjit attended St. Thomas’ College in Mount Lavinia before completing his marine and mechanical engineering degree. He and his wife migrated to Canada in 1988 and have resided in Toronto with their children thereafter.
Funeral is to be held at Chapel Ridge Funeral Home and Cremation Center located at 8911 Woodbine Avenue, Markham, ON L3R 5G1 Phone: (905) 305-8508. Visitation will be held on November 28, 2017 from 5pm to 9pm and on November 29, 2017 from 9am-10am. Funeral service will be held on November 29, 2017 from 10am- 11am, cortege to leave for cremation thereafter.
