Obituary Notice Mr. Thambipillai Ratnasundaram( Rtd.Commissioner General , Dept. of Inland Revenue , Sri Lanka - Former Director of VAT(GST) Development Unit-Ministry of Finance, Sri Lanka - Former Consultant of Tax Administration Government of Antigua (W.I) Inland Revenue Department ) Mr. Thambipillai Ratnasundaram of Ariyalai origin passed away in Colombo on Wednesday April 8th 2015. He was son of late Thambipillai and Kanambigai, son in law of late Rasiah and Thangaluxmy, beloved husband of late Bavani, father of Bavan (Canada), father in law of Roshni, Grand father of Dylan Yonesh, Bianca Ria, brother of late Alalasundram, Lankeswary, Sivagnaneswary, Yogeswary, Swarneswary, Maheswary, brother in law of Leelathevy, Thuraisamy, late Ambalavanar , late Thiagarajah, Ramanathan, Maheson (Canada). Remains lies at A.F Raymonds, Borella for viewing between 10 A.M to 8 P.M on Saturday 11th of April. Final rites will be performed from 7.30 Am onwards on Sunday 12th of April and thereafter cremation at 11 A.M General Cemetery, Kanatte (Hindu Section), Borella. ஓய்வுபெற்ற ஆணையாளர் நாயகம், இலங்கை உள்நாட்டு இறைவரி - முன்னாள் இயக்குனர், இலங்கை நிதி அமைச்சு வரி அபிவிருத்தி பிரிவு - முன்னாள் ஆலோசகர், வரி நிர்வாக சபை, அன்டிகுவா அரசு உள்நாட்டு இறைவரி திணைக்களம். யாழ். அரியாலையைப் பிறப்பிடமாகவும் கொழும்பை வசிப்பிடமாகவும் கொண்ட தம்பிப்பிள்ளை ரட்னசுந்தரம் அவர்கள் 08-04-2015 புதன்கிழமை அன்று காலமானார். அன்னார், காலஞ்சென்றவர்களான தம்பிப்பிள்ளை கனகாம்பிகை தம்பதிகளின் அன்பு புத்திரரும், காலஞ்சென்றவர்களான இராசையா (இராசையா வாத்தியார்) தங்கலட்சுமி தம்பதிகளின் மருமகனும், காலஞ்சென்ற பவானியின் அன்பு கணவரும், பவானின் பாசமிகு தந்தையும், ரோஷ்னியின் மாமனாரும், டிலான் யோனேஷ், பியான்கா ரியா ஆகியோரின் அன்புப் பேரனாரும், காலஞ்சென்ற ஆலாலசுந்தரம், இலங்கேஸ்வரி, சிவநானேஸ்வரி, யோகேஸ்வரி, சுவர்னேஸ்வரி, மகேஸ்வரி ஆகியோரின் சகோதரரும், லீலாதேவி, துரைச்சாமி, காலஞ்சென்றவர்களான அம்பலவாணர், தியாகராஜா மற்றும் ராமநாதன், மகேசன் ஆகியோரின் மைத்துனரும் ஆவார். அன்னாரின் பூதவுடல் A.F Raymonds, பொரள்ளை மலர்ச்சாலையில் சனிக்கிழமை 11/04/2015 அன்று காலை 10 மணிமுதல் மாலை 8 மணிவரை பார்வைக்கு வைக்கப்பட்டும். இறுதிக்கரிகைகள் ஞாயிற்றுக்கிழமை 12/04/2015 அன்று காலை 7:30 மணியளவில் நடைபெற்று பூதவுடல் பொரள்ளை கனத்தை இந்து மயானத்தில் காலை 11 மணியளவில் தகனம் செய்யப்படும். இவ் அறிவித்தலை உற்றார், உறவினர், நண்பர்கள் அனைவரும் ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளுமாறு கேட்டுக்கொள்கின்றோம். தகவல்:குடும்பத்தினர் தொடர்புகளுக்கு: பவான்: +9411 2584797 (இலங்கை) |

Late Mr Ratnasunderam is well known to my parents and the rest of my family.My late brother DrPothalingam was in touch with him (till his demise in 2008) and his late brother Mr Alalasunderam and Bil late MrAmbalavaner are well known to us in Ariyalai.His late wife Bavani and Mr Maheswaran(his Bil) are cousins of my wife Thangesh.Please accept our heartfelt condolence .May god bless his soul

Late Mr. Ratnasundaram was a great gentleman. He has helped many people including me. It was nice of him for having introduced me to a Chartered Accountant to serve articles, around forty years which enabled me to start a career in Accounting. I will never forget him in my lifetime.
May his soul rest in peace. Our heart felt condolences to his son Bavan and family members.
