Shocked and very sad to hear the news of Leela. Leela has been one of my closest friends from school days at Chundikuli and later in Colombo and Peradeniya University. She was such a loving, compassionate, sincere friend. I have so many great memories of dear Leela from our good old days!I also had the privilege of visiting Leela in her beautiful London home and meeting her lovely family few years back. She was a wonderful hostess!
Yoga, Arani, Ahilan and family, please accept my deepest sympathies. May God comfort and give you strength in the coming days. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

It is with deep sadness to hear about Leela's passing away. We both were class mates at Chundikuli and close friends at University. Our friendship continued after marriage. Through our long standing friendship my late husband Navam and Yoga became friends too. Leela was a very simple, humble, caring and sincere person.
Leela and Yoga were very supportive during my husbands illness. Leela had a lot of hidden talents and she was always honest and straight forward in her words and deeds. She was well liked by everyone who knew her. Leela brought happiness by her kind words and friendly manner. She always had a pleasant smile and she will be missed terribly.
Yoga, Ahilan, Arani may God be with you at this most difficult time.
