I always remember Selvarajah annan as an active member of Ariyalai United Club and a key man for its success.During his time AUC was one of the leading club in the Northern Province. He also worked very close with our Pillaiyar Temple and Naarchimaar Kovil ( Amman Temple ). He was in charge for raising funds for both temples in the UK. Recently, he donated a very large sum of his own funds to support both temples development.
His legend will live on in both sport and in the community.
Ariyalai will miss him.

Sad to hear this news of my Good friend at St Johns College and in the Community Center in Pungankulam Ariyalai. His Parents are also well known to me during his young days in Ariyalai.

I am deeply saddened to hear this news. 'Manager Selvarajah' as he was known to us was truly and whole heartedly dedicated in putting Ariyalai as the No.1 village in every respect, particularly Arts, Education and Sports through numerous projects. He was a friendly person and had this unique jovial personality that would make anyone donate happily and generously when he approached them for funds for the projects he worked on. Ariyalai has lost a great son. He cannot be replaced by anyone. We will miss him for a long time. The projects themselves will stand as monuments of him.
