Dr. Ramesh Sabanadesan of Ariyalai, born and raised in Colombo, was passed away on Tuesday November 01, 2011 in Colombo, Sri Lanka. He was beloved grandson of late Mr. & Mrs. Sathasivan and Pakkiyam and late Mr. & Mrs. Sabaratnam and Kamala, loving son of late Sabanadesan and Bhagavathi, brother of Anusha Jothibal, brother-in-law of Sivasundaram Jothibal and uncle of Thiveena, Prasanna and Pravinthan.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday November 06th in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

அன்னார், காலஞ்சென்றவர்களான சதாசிவம் பாக்கியம் தம்பதியரினதும், காலஞ்சென்றவர்களான சபாரட்ணம் கமலா தம்பதியரினதும் அன்புப் பேரனும்,
காலஞ்சென்ற சபாநடேசன் மற்றும் பகவதி தம்பதியரின் அன்பு மகனும்,
அனுஷா ஜோதிபால் அவர்களின் அன்புச் சகோதரரும்,
சிவசுந்தரம் ஜோதிபால் அவர்களின் அன்பு மைத்துனரும்,
திவீண, பிரசன்ன, பிரவிந்தன் ஆகியோரின் ஆசை மாமாவும் ஆவார்.
அன்னாரின் இறுதிக்கிரியைகள் 06-11-2011 ஞாயிற்றுக்கிழமை அன்று கொழும்பில் இடம்பெறும்.
இவ் அறிவித்தலை உற்றார், உறவினர், நண்பர்கள் அனைவரும் ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளுமாறு கேட்டுக்கொள்கின்றோம்.

 Ramesh was the son of our eldest (male) cousin Sabanadesan, who inspired and mentored us to be what we are now. It is not a surprise that Ramesh became a leading surgeon in Sri Lanka. His demise is huge loss to mankind; nevertheless I suppose God needed him more than us. May God Sithivinayagar will give enough courage to his sister, mother, all relatives and friends to get over this difficult period. Yathindras

Ramesh is the son of my cousin-sister, Bhagawathy.I was lucky to have known Ramesh from the time of his birth.We were all very happy that his hairlip was partially rectified at his tender age.Ramesh is intelligent ,thouightful, very helpful and keen on his duty as a surgeon of stomach. His surgery surpassed all.  Dr. Ramesh was a kind hearted individual and always out to help his friends and patients. It is a loss to Sri Lanka and my dear friend I miss you. You rest in peace. my deepest sympathies to his family.

Dr. Ramesh Sabanadesan was an eminent surgeon and hails from a well connected family from Colombo 7. He was a compassionate person who helped all. His demise is a significant loss to all mankind. May his soul rest in peace. May the supreme God sustain his family at this difficult time.

Ramesh was my classmate and from his school days he was an intelligent,hardworking and honest person.He subsequently, went on to become a great surgeon, displaying his talents to the highest level in the medical profession, to the wider society and above all to the patients which he took care of!.Surely his sudden demise is an irreparable loss that cannot be easily replaced.My family and I , take this opportunity to convey our sympathies to his mother, sister,brother in law and all his close relatives!May his soul attain the supreme bliss of god Siva!

he is classmate at st johns college Jaffna up to year 10 he got 7 distinctions and one credit pass and came first the school . he left to royal college and entered to university of he Colombo and became brillant urologist . sudden demise is a loss to srilankan community . he is nice person and good friend of mine. I miss you dear friend
